We've had Joey (brownheaded parrot) for about 2.5 months now and he's been great!! Altho he has become very attached to my wife and I. He does the poi "skirt dance" with my wife and regurgitates with head bobs for me. This is a daily thing. We've been trying to take his mind off of it and distracting him as soon as we catch him. We are trying to limit his time with us and bought a bunch of new toys, spent 3 hours creating a 4x4 net with toys interlaced within it, and only feed him on his playstand or in his cage. What else can we do so that he can learn to play and see that being with us isn't a necessity? He whines if we ignore him...but then stops after about 30 min.
