They had opened up a 12 month revision of its status back in Sep/18 so get ready to get, hopefully, a change for the better..

Breeders suing government for failure to downgrade the golden conure from endangered to threatened (mind you, they are only doing this so they can sell/ship them without so many restrictions).

Well, PIJAN did it! They downgraded the status of the golden conure to threatened so interstate trade is now allowed. Personal note: I doubt it will hold for very long as Brazil is in real bad shape when it comes to keeping intact natural habitats so, eventually, the numbers will go down again and it will be reclassified as endangered but, for now, you can adopt in another state and move it to yours.
