Carolina Keet - a Lazarus species?

Postby Pajarita » Mon Jan 20, 2020 9:24 am

Article that talks about the extinction caused entirely by man of the only two USA parrot species - AND they mention the Carolina as a possible Lazarus species! Now, wouldn't that be something?!

On another note, my husband is driving me to Trenton, NJ to see the birds exhibition at the New Jersey State Museum that opened recently and there is a Carolina Parakeet in it! See the second link with info about it.
