Prospective GCC healthy, but has chronic liquid poop?

Postby GlassOnion » Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:32 am

I think I might be adopting a GCC from a vet's office. Apparently the bird has this issue where its poop is mostly liquid, and its been happening since it was young. The vet ran tests and everything is fine with a clean record of health but has no idea why for the runny poop. Would I be digging myself a grave (not really but still) to take in this bird? I will go visit it hopefully soon, I hear it is a sweet bird!

Maybe you should wait to adopt him after his stools get firmer. You never know, he could have some hard to find illness, and it could effect your tiel.

Either way, I called today to find out the bird is adopted. Darn.
