Nobody seems to have hanging parrots, or if they do, they never talk about them! :o If anyone has them, please explain their nature and pet potential to me... please :)

So cute!

But it doesn't seem like they are a common pet.

all I know is that they are pretty much like lories and lorikeets with their special diet and energy. Also that they have a whistling type of song rather than squawking all morning or evening

Excerpts from the link:

"As their name suggests, they spend a lot of time hanging from the cage bars..."

"...if there is a risk of rodents getting into the room where they're kept, then it is a good idea to have double wiring to prevent their feet from being chewed by rodents as they sleep."
