I wish my birds were bathers. I love looking at videos of birds getting all wet and flustered. it's just so cute!

Alas, my budgies think I'm crazy and the only water they will tolerate is their drinking water.

A few days ago I got a large dish, and filled it with about an inch of water. I placed Einstein in it, and he just stood there, looking at me. His face was kind of like -> (no the water was not freezing cold or hot)

He didn't do anything. He just stood there. So I took him out and that was that.

Tomorrow I'm buying a spray bottle. There is no escaping bath time!

My GCC looooooooooves bathing.

He takes at least one bath a day and sometimes two. He has a big water dish that's a good size for him, and of course we have to change the water at least once a day. He usually jumps right in when we give him a nice, fresh bowl of water every night. He likes the cold, clean stuff :P If he's on my shoulder when I take his bowls to the kitchen to clean he gets really excited and paces back and forth on my shoulders and tries to climb down my arm into the water. He has a mini water bowl on his playstand and he even tries to bathe in that from time to time.

He could take or leave a mist, but would rather leave it. He likes to get right in the water and splash around til he looks like a drowned rat.

Rainbow and Scooter definitely went to the same school of bathing! Now that he's speaking to me, I'll have to see if I can get a video. Have you ever tried closing the drain and letting a small pool build in the bottom? Scooter seems to especially like that.

thanks ^_^ aren't conures just freakin cute at everything they do??
I usually cup my hands and let water accumulate there  She runs up and down my arm is just generally adorable when I do! but my hands were otherwise occupied this time, shoulda thought of the drain
