today ilias is full of energy!!!he is not afraid of me and he is now on my shoulder!!!he is chirping again!!!!

i did cut them and it work...he can now glide smoothly from high spots and lift himself to almost a meter high...and even though he can fly of my hands and shoulder he does not!!!he walks and climps all over my body and it feels so nice... :)
i m a little sad though because he can't fly to all his favourite spots... :(

We do a "show clip" on Scooter, which leaves the outer two primaries completely intact. We have not had any problem with them breaking. The primaries we do cut, however, we cut just below hte line of the coverts, so their aren't "stumps" sticking out. Works for us.
