I don't know why she does it, but if you don't like her doing it, you could always get her a bottle instead. Worked pretty well when my parakeets wouldn't stop pooping in the water :)

Some birds do this to soften it up, it's normal and my tiel does it too

Yeah, so does my tiel. Maybe he just want to mix it. Either way nothing to worry about, normal bird behaviour.

MANY animals just LOVE to mix food and water. Its just like how humans mixed chicken and sauce to make sweet and sour. The flavor is tasty :P

When my tiels were young they used to put grapes and blueberries in their water bowl and then bobb for them. It was a game. They outgrew it.

Rambo :amazon: to this day will still dunk a cookie or cracker in his water before he eats it.

:amazon: Rambo is a character. He walks through the house between the other animals as if he was the one in charge. They all respect him.

Learning the names of the others babies makes me feel like they are kids in the neighborhood.

I agree Liz, it is nice knowing the characteristics of all the birdys and their names. I have soo gone off talking about the human kid, love talking about birdy kids. This forum is very friendly in that way.
