Good Portable Perch for Grey?

Postby Cockatude » Tue Dec 26, 2023 12:01 pm

Can anyone recommend a good portable perch for an African grey? My bird likes to sit on the cage when he's out, and he poops on it a lot. I would like a perch I could move around, preferably with wheels.

I live in an area where I can't really see parrot products before buying them.

This one isn’t on wheels but is easy to carry around the house with you:

This one is on wheels but isn’t as portable. They are there more for the occasional move or to take outside to clean:

And this is the top of the line, in stainless steel and hardwood, with optional wheels:

Thanks for the help.

I looked at a bunch of perches or stands or whatever, and when I saw what they cost, I decided to buy a dado set instead. I can make a better perch for very little money, and I'll have the dado set to use for other things.

I live on a farm, so branches are never in short supply.

That will be fine as long as you make sure that the wood is safe.
