Are bird toys too juvenile in design?

The toys that I think are too silly are the ones that are meant to look like something. A little horse, googly eyes, a little birdy, etc. They might be made of beads or wood but they resemble the shape of something that is only known to us. That serves no purpose at all for the bird. The main thing is the material and how much fun the parrots can have breaking it!

I saw one at the store today with toy keys on it that my nephew plays with. They're like exactly the same. Like this:

THAT is a little too juvenile. My bird's favorite toy is her plain old wesco shreddable kabob. I don't think she cares much about the colors. They really don't need to overdo it so much.
