Scooter's Homemade Paper Shred Toy

He really likes this. He isn't strong enough to pull the paper out himself, but I'll pull it out to this length and by the end of the day it looks like lace! It's just a roll of plain calculator paper (not thermal or coated or anything like that), leather, two plastic toy part discs, three wooden squares and one wooden rod. The paper came in a a package of 3 rolls, should last a good long time!

I saw this at Fosters and Smith weird seeing someone remaking it themselves, ingenious  . This kind of shredding toy would only make Diamond better at shredding. I let her on the desk once and within a minute she had shredded a good chunk of my homework sheet.

Looks great! I heard of taking old phone books and weaving then in the bars to shred too...

I have the ticker tape toy from Nalani Toys

Jake LOVES it, Scarlet just stares at it  She prefers her books.
Both birds like it when I cut a paper towel into strips (but not all the way up, leaving like one inch so they stay connected) then rolling it up tightly. They love to preen it and tear it to shreds.

Teacher: Where is your assignment?

You: Um...my bird ate my homework.
