My biggest problem with her is when I am doing paper work. She hangs upside down on the front of me and wants to get involved in what I am doing. Of course I can't see around her to do my work.

Another use for the percher. I stick the stem down into the garbage disposal to block the drain hole and make it safe for the bird to run around the sink. Sometimes the percher blocks the drain a bit better and more water accumulates. She will stay up on the perch for a while, and then run down and do this.
This product is a good design, and is pretty useful, but it's pretty cheaply made. It is, however, not a bad value at under $20.
