Yo.

Postby Rueae » Tue Jul 13, 2010 4:27 am

So, I'm new to the forum. (Relatively anyway, I joined a few days ago in anticipation of today.)
/cough

Today I went a lookin' for a lutino budgie. (Long story, but this particular coloring has very special meaning to me) Sadly (and not) there were none to be found, however, in my quest I came across a (possibly albino, I'll post a topic in some help board to voice my concerns as I don't want to ask questions in the wrong one) beautifully white female.

I bought her and brought her home. ^^ Her name is Ophelia.

I'm not sure what else to say at this point.
I cannot brain. I have the dumb.
Forgive me, it is so late here that is it early.

P.S. Aye, that is Ophelia in my display picture.
I'll post a few of her first night home in this thread, if anyone expresses interest. :3

AWWWW!

About a month ago I took my little brother to the pet store to look at the budgies (or to him the "Bonnie and Clydes". And there was an albino budgie. It was so cute and had these creepy red beady eyes.

If you are determining her sex through her cere, it might not be right because of the colour mutation :)

She's not albino or even clear body.
She's double factor spangled with blue suffusion. So her mutation doesn't change the sex determining aspect of her cere. It's also really crusty. :3

And a special thanks to those that love her name. I'm quite partial myself. :/D
