Hello from The Netherlands

Postby el-parrot » Wed Jul 21, 2010 5:58 pm

Hello all, I just joined this forum. I am Ellen (47) and I live in Holland with my 8 birds. I have 1 budgie, 4 lovebirds, 1 senegal parrot, 1 quaker parrot and 1 congo african grey. I work as a secretary for the president and the director of the courthouse in my hometown and my hobby's are for sure my birds, my website, photography etc. My first grey I lost through pbfd and polyoma. That was in September 2001 and was quite traumatic for me. You can read my story here

I also wrote three books here in NL. Books with basics about budgies, african greys and senegal parrots. Click here

This is me with my grey Tommy

He Michael, thanks. Is this your forum? I am a subscriber from your youtube page. Love it. At this moment my birds (except my budgie, but he doesn't come out of his cage anymore) are clipped. Except my lovebirds I love to take them out for a walk (sennie, quaker and grey0 and I just don't get them used to a harnass.

Oh wow! You wrote books on your babies? That is amazing!
Michael - it looks like your starting to really get a good group of parrot owners on the forums now! I am REALLY looking forward to learning as much as I can about parrots in general...and Sennies!

Are your books in English? And if so, are they in distribution in North America?

Yes indeed! That is too bad, I've not seen any books locally about Sennies!
