Hi all, I'm Lindsay. I just adopted a new baby parrotlet, and I'm here to get some advice and tips on training him and our other birdies. I'd love to get a bigger bird in the future or possibly foster with our local avian rescue, but I still have a lot to learn, so here I am.
Our flock...
My new baby, Bean. He's a chunky little guy.
The tough guy, Tucker. We rescued him from one of my coworkers. They thought he was a Senegal, and he has definitely been abused and neglected. He is absolutely terrified of sticks, so we believe he was probably hit or poked with sticks. He is a work in progress but he has a great home now and loves to dance and give kisses.
Lupe, one of the silliest birds I know. She is a great flier but quite clumsy otherwise. Here she was playing with a toilet paper tube and got it around her neck.
And Lupe loves to follow around and mimic Tweety Bird, who just wants to be left alone.
And the original little guy, Fredo. He passed away earlier this year. He was an independent guy and even took on big ol Tucker once or twice.
