Baby Cape!

Postby Michael » Tue May 04, 2010 2:49 pm

The pictures are in. My baby is the one that is slightly older. You can tell cause it has a bit more feathers and tail coming in.

No. Unfortunately the breeder is all the way in Florida. I considered flying down to pick the bird up (either by airline or private plane) but no matter how I work it that would cost a fortune. Even if I buy a roundtrip ticket and go to personally pick up the bird (maybe $300 cheapest), I'd still have to pay $100+ for the bird. So what's the point of going if they are going to ship it as cargo with or without me and at the same price! So I'm just going to let the breeder ship it. At least she sends me pics and I talk to her nearly every week.

Your baby is beautiful! So cute!

Breeder shipping is best. A friend just got their bird from Queensland (Top of Australia) and it was pretty hassel free and her bird looks fine.

In any case Congratulations Michael :)

Cheers

Great pictures of your Cape!

At least there is an end in sight when you're going to get your baby Cape this month or early June. Waiting is always the worst part. Its good to have a breeder that is willing to provide pics and updates.
