Needless to say, I agree 100% with this article and I signed the pledge. It should be illegal to keep undomesticated animals with complex needs as human pets. Of course, once they are here all we can do is rescue them but we need to change the laws so no more animals suffer at the hands of often well-intentioned people who really cannot provide for their needs.
