Nice story

Postby cstone01 » Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:10 pm

I have a story from a couple months ago I would like to share. My husband is a neurologist and a patient came in with a severe stroke and brain damage. He found out from the family that this gentleman raises canaries and song birds and is very fond of them. They were not having any luck getting him to respond to commands or react to the environment. After hearing from the family my husband pulled up a video of Hephaestion to show him. They got his eyes to track and him to respond for the first time since he came into the hospital with the video.

AWWWW - what a wonderful, WONDERFUL story! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. And I am not surprised at all because I also started loving canaries and ended up loving ALL birds! Once the love for birds 'gets' you, it doesn't let go
