I really like Ari. It sounds very original to me.

Maybe because 2/3 of the name Ari ar the second and third letter in oRIginal. :lol:

So many Firefly names... Why is there no Mal on that list?! I think Mal should probably jump to the front of the list :lol: But Gavin is also pretty adorable too~

Well, I just don't like Mal as a name for a bird even though he is the coolest character. Sadly, Firefly doesn't have that many cool names. : ( I like Xander but my husband doesn't. I was thinking about maybe Arthur for Arthur Dent. I'm still compiling a list but I'll try to narrow down and see what everybody thinks.

Oh- and although Spike kicks ass, the name doesn't work for me. All of these great characters have mediocre names!

You could name him Shakespear or Van gogh. David, Alexander, Davinci, Mozart, Austin, or Valentine.

...I had a cat called Van Gogh. She came with the acerage we bought...she was missing an ear...

Didn't know it was a girl until several months had passed and she became friendlier...she had been spayed at some point...
