Yep, Scooter. Thankfully. If Scotty went for my lip, I'm not sure I'd be typing the same day! As it is, this is pretty minor, just painful at the time and, er.... visible. He drew blood but didn't really do much damage at all. Sure felt stupid though!
I'm a little worried this is an evolving dynamic with Scooter. The first few trips we left him, he was fine. The last time, both he and Scotty were with the petsitter (she comes in twice a day) for a longish trip and Scooter was "mad at me" for 2-3 days afterwards. This time we both went to a meeting, but I was on the organizing committee and went several days earlier, so I was gone 5 nights, but the birds were only with the sitter for 2 nights. Scooter is "mad at me" again. He's OK with Bill, who is usually his less preferred person. He's now starting to normalize and based on how he is today, I think he might be fine tomorrow. Scotty has taken the whole thing in stride. The pet sitter reports that she gets on well with Scotter and gets him out and stuff... I should probably revive the old thread I started on this behavior, because I wouldn't mind some help debugging the cause of this extreme aggressive behavior, this thread was supposed to be amusing...
