Well, Friday wasn't meant to be the day... just sort of happened that way, spur of the moment. One thing we're hanging out, next thing, we're driving to Waco at 9 pm.

She really is a bit too good to be true, especially for a rehomed Grey. I was completely expecting to have to be very patient and move slowly with her, gradually earning her trust, but nope. She acts like she's lived here her entire life. I keep waiting for the bad habits to come forward...

Thanks everybody for the support!

Uh oh, she has a name AND she's behaving perfectly!

Seriously, she sounds wonderful and I'm looking forward to hearing more about her.

She is flighted. The other birds aren't real big on her sudden appearance, but my Senegal hates all other birds anyway. Nicodemus just ignores her as he does all of the birds unless they invade his space. I am hoping that she and Rupert can be friends but we'll see. He's so used to flying away from the bully Pippin that he flies from her without even really giving her a chance.

I will definitely begin working on teaching new words. She knows the name Tara so I'll have to work on that. She also has some really awful sounding dog sounds (I think they are dog sounds... like maybe a dog vomiting or something) that I need to erase from her vocab!

I will keep everybody updated. I have a video of her bathing that is hilarious... I will try to post it later today.
