Hello everyone! I'm the new owner of a 5 month old blue fronted amazon. In Michael's book he mentions dietary balance in regards to training and removing food in between meals to increase training productivity and motivation but mentions leaving food in 24/7 for babies.
At what age should I start the 2 meals a day and no food in the cage otherwise process? Today was his first day home and he's really a sweet, friendly bird who's taken extremely well to handling and shows no signs of fear being around people. I'm excited to start clicker training him and getting him exposed to all aspects of proper companionship and diet is clearly a big part of this.
Thanks for the input!
