I'm sure people are unlikely to come back and tell sad endings...

My African grey sometimes sounds like breathing heavy but only for twice or thrice after eating food. It happened to my both greys. which i had and then exchanged it with store people.

You exchanged your birds?

I don't think a bird should ever breathe heavily just because it eats... please... get some avian veterinary help.

I apologize if I understood you incorrectly.

No you are fine this post was began by a different party than the last one that you are replying to, but your advice still applies to this one as well. Although I don't know the age of this Grey, I believe it to be a young bird and no you should not be able to hear the birds breathing and so vetinary care should be set up.

Ah, okay, I see.

Maybe I should quit reading these inquiries... I seem to get more upset than the posters!

I would be happy if they came back to tell us more about the breeder who sold them sick parrots too.
