Now, this whole story is a bit ridiculous because they claim that because a single cockatiel sick with chlamydiosis lived in the home in 2018, the carpet in the entire house needs to be replaced or people can get infected by it. All they have to do is shampoo the carpet with a 10% Clorox solution and end of story.
