Multilevel society in birds!

Postby Pajarita » Wed Nov 06, 2019 10:22 am

This study was not done on parrots (surprise, surprise  ) but on vulturine guineafowl, a bird that is not even considered very intelligent, and they found that, same as elephants, apes, dolphins and giraffes, they have a multilevel society. This is the first bird species that has been found to have this complex sociological structure, never thought to be found in anything but mammals! We know SOOOOO little about birds... Now, imagine if they actually study parrots!
