New as of today,
I really would like some opinions on new a tail feather that looks very concerning. Some background first, I was away from Tiger for awhile due to a relationship ending during which time she had chewed off her tail feathers. Now this could also be because she's in egg laying, so she has fake eggs and spends a lot of time caring for them. She is now back with me full time and has since been put on Lafeber's Bird Food. It was hard because getting her to eat anything that is good for her was next to impossible, went through everything they sell before I found one she would eat. Just had her lab work done on 6/27/23 and everything was in normal range, weight is great. She is spoiled to say the least, as she should be. I make sure she get out and has time to interact, I have three different areas she spends time in, her Playground, as I call it, a perch / stand in my living room and a perch / open cage she sleep at in my bedroom. She's always with me. She's going through a big molt right and has pins everywhere so I was excited that finally she will grow in her new tail. I have a habit of inspecting her a lot as she enjoys sitting on my chest and getting face rubs. Now the feather, Tiger is a 13 year old Sulphur-crested cockatoo and has had her DNA done so we could sex her when we first got her and was negative for PBFD. This new tail feather makes me worry
