That is called ROAD TRIP. On ebay alow a distance that you and your father would travel for a days excusion. It is time spent together, going some place new. Do you plan to get your bird there or in NC?
If you plan to get it here, check ebay / Greensboro NC. I know an Amazon named Hilda that comes with her own cage and toys. I just couldn't afford to put out $1000 at one time. Hilda is fully trained and loving. You might find the same with a McCall.

Yeah its amazing! I went on ebay and a lot of the cages are local shipping only, but I will keep looking
