Maxx's new cage

Postby Bobioden » Tue Sep 06, 2011 3:32 pm

Saw this on Craigslist and just had to have it for Maxx. It is an A&E Medium Fan cage, otherwise known as the Conure Castle 32x23x64, 46 Inch Interior.

Here is the top part of the cage. I am still trying to figure out how to hang the toys. The top seems full, just need to work more on the middle and bottom half.

His old cage is outside on the other side of the window. I will move him back and forth, weather permitting. Denver weather is pretty nice all year round so he will be outside
quite a bit

and his view from his outside cage, and from the window inside.

The cage looks really great. Craigslist is great for finding bird items I once found a manzinita climbing tree for $50!

Thanks guys, I at first thought it might be a tab big, but after a week inside, he LOVES it. He uses every inch and gets around the whole cage quite quickly. I Love all the room for toys, perches, etc... and the storage area is an added bonus.

Lucky Maxx. I think a cage can never be too big. Its like our home, the bigger, the more stuff we can put in it. Unfortunately bigger home means more cleaning. lucky for Maxx, bigger cage means more toys and play space. I am glad Maxx is having fun in the cage. Love the storage underneath, never seen that before in cages, great idea. Thanks for sharing.

This is the first cage I have seen with storage, and wonder why more cage companies don't incorporate it. A lot have shelves, but who wants to see your stuff out in the open? I threw a couple plastic storage containers under there. One for toys and the other for snacks, treats etc..
