Has anyone used this cage for an irn?

Most of the reviews talk about budgies or cockatiels. I know the cage is iron, but the bars just look pretty thin.

I don't know anything about IRNs. The cage is beautiful.

I am sure someone with a RN will get back to you soon.

I've seen this cage used for ring necks and larger parakeets(Quakers, grass keets etc). It seemed to work very well and there is lots of room for toys  although you would want to secure any sliding feed doors.

i had one very similar for my IRN and it was fine. about the same price too but it had 2 front doors and a side opening.
i found mine on EBay and it was free shipping. so if you do a search on ebay do "free shipping" and
"buy it now". i was very happy with mine. it even had a nice long ladder in it as well as a platform.
i'll have to see if i can find the link.

here is a link to it. hope it works. the cage was very easy to put together i got mine in white.
the seller was excellent too as he sent me a missing bolt right away.

I don't know about IRN housing either. The only thing that I can say about both those cages is that the bar spacing may be too narrow. This wouldn't be a safety issue, but more of a preference. I personally prefer the bar spacing to be as wide as safely possible so that you can reach a finger through to give a head scratch or give some treats. This is difficult to do with 1/2" or 2/8" bar spacing.

I ended up getting it, and it's pretty awesome. I love the extra room for Ace, and he (though I'm starting to think it might be a she) is loving it. I tied the side doors shut, and found the spacing to be ok.

It is much easier to clean than the old cage, and it's so big Ace actually prefers being inside it than being on top of it if I leave the door open.
