Size Cage for Conure?

How large of a cage would I need for a Sun Conure or a Green Cheek? I am trying to figure out cage sizes, and I want to get one with a play set on top....but I am not sure what sizes are comfortable, roomy, and then too big. I have heard if you get a cage too big it can cause more fear in your bird. is this true?

Possibly with rescue cases a cage can be "too big" but for a bird raised in one, I don't think there really is too big. There is too big bar spacing though so don't think that an enormous cage with 1" bar spacing is a good idea. I'd say 5/8" is probably ideal. There's only so big of a cage they make that has that bar spacing without going wider spacing.
