Thanks, Deb. I know what you mean. The first picture was obviously taken by somebody else. The second is the only kind of photo/video that I can manage of the two of us... with the cam at arm's length. I have a Rickeybird scrapbook. What you see here is one of the first few and the last to date. I'll probably post some more pictures of us over the years. OH THE HAIRSTYLES AND GLASSES TO BEHOLD...!!!! Gahhhhhhh!!!! The RB had the good taste to stay au natural.
My daughter has a picture of me from 17 years ago with 5 different parrots on me, one on each leg, one on each arm and one on my head....lol.....If she can find it I will scan it and post it.
everytime I eat something that the Pois are not allowed to eat, I give the Pois something similar that is for Parrots, and that is fine with Gaugan but Sunny has to come over and taste my lips after. So I have to hold my lips tight....lol
Yes, parrot keepers develop reflexive reactions and acquire habits that other people don't understand. I also have to do the 'tight lip' grin, myself, and have become a champion at nodding my head HARD to get a parrot perching there off (so much so that one of these days I will end up giving myself whiplash )
