Snowball has been at the rescue since before I started over three years ago. He got adopted yesterday. For the last 2 weeks, snowball has let me scratch his head. First time in three years I've been able to touch that bird.
Snowball is 26. He is open banded, so he may be wild-caught.
That leaves only Boucca, the wild-caught M2 who has been here longer than me. I think Boucca has been here for 8 years.
I think I've missed posting some adoptions and intakes.
In intake quarantine we currently have a hybrid macaw (Catalina or Harlequin, depending on who you ask), Princess; a Citron Cockatoo, Fluffy; a pineapple GCC, Bird; and a green budgie stray we named Farren (Farren is Olde English for "Wanderer.")
We have three more birds going home tomorrow.
