This time, in Berlin Zoo. Skipper and Ping had been trying for months to incubate rocks or anything remotely similar to an egg but now they got themselves a real egg! YAAAYYYY for Ping and Skipper!

I have had male cockatiels steal and adopt chicks. Impy, without a mate, tried to claim an egg but could not get it under him.

Yes, that's because cockatiel pairs share the parental duties of feeding babies AND incubating the eggs.
